An exhibition of art work by Claire Attenbury will open on Saturday 5th July at 7 pm in the Angling Centre, Athleague, Co. Roscommon. Claire is a local artist who uses Celtic myths, legends and places of Irish heritage as a source for inspiration. Her works are filled with novelty and creative use of media. Her work is often a mix of collage, paint and low relief. Her range is vast and always full of excitement and invention. She studied at Stockport School of Art and Wolverhampton University where she gained a BA in Fine Art.
