Lough Rynn Castle Estate and Gardens is in a celebratory mood as general manager Ciarán Reidy adds two more accolades to the hotel’s ‘trophy cabinet’.
The property, which is a member of the prestigious Hanly Castle Hotel Group, has been named Best Castle Wedding Venue not once, but twice in the last three month, seeing off competition from the likes of Dromoland Castle, Castle Leslie, Clontarf Castle and Lough Eske Castle.
Lough Rynn Castle, which became a household name when it hosted the wedding of former Ireland rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll to actress and author Amy Huberman in 2010, picked up the top awards at the Mrs2Be Brides’ Choice Awards and the Weddingsonline Awards 2015.
Both awards were voted for by happy couples who had celebrated their marriages at the hotel during the past year, along with a panel of expert judges.
Mr Reidy said that the awards are a tribute to the talented team at the hotel. “We are honoured to have been named Best Castle Wedding Venue twice in the last three months.
“I would like to thank all of the couples who choose us for their big day as well as the entire team, members of whom work tirelessly to ensure that every wedding is a truly special occasion.”
