Weather warnings in place as Storm Kathleen makes landfall

There is a yellow wind warning in place for Roscommon until 8 pm tonight as Storm Kathleen moves across the country.

Met Éireann have said that there will be very strong and gusty southerly winds associated with Storm Kathleen.

This may cause difficult travelling conditions with the risk of fallen trees and displaced debris and loose objects.

Five coastal counties, Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Galway and Mayo are all currently under an orange wind warning.
