Due to the Covid-19 health crisis, and in the interests of the safety of our staff and customers, the Roscommon People office in Abbey Street will be closing temporarily, with effect from 6 pm this evening, Friday March 20.
The Roscommon People will continue to publish our print and online editions. We thank our loyal advertisers and readers for your continued support in this extraordinarily challenging environment.
Unfortunately, due to the catastrophic economic fall-out from Covid-19, we have had to implement a number of cutbacks, pending this crisis passing.
We are confirming that a number of staff have been temporarily laid off. Thank you to our great team for their understanding and support and we look forward to working alongside them again in the very near future.
