Polling for the 27th Seanad election for 43 members across 5 panels ended on the 30th of January, 2025, at 11 am. The Houses of the Oireachtas Communication team has created a section on the Oireachtas website dedicated to explaining the process for members of the public. The website section includes links to information on transparency of this election, panels and candidates. Election results for each of the 5 panels will be released on the Results Hub from the 30th of January to the 3rd of February.
The 5 panels are:
- Cultural and educational panel – 5 members
- Agricultural panel – 11 members
- Labour panel – 11 members
- Industrial and commercial panel – 9 members
- Administrative panel – 7 members
