Deputy Frank Feighan was selected to once again contest the Sligo-Leitrim constituency for Fine Gael in the upcoming General Election.
Deputy Feighan defeated John Perry by 352 votes to 77 at a selection convention held on Sunday last in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo.
Following his success, Deputy Feighan said: “I am honoured to have been selected to represent Fine Gael in Sligo-Leitrim. With years of political experience and having served as a Minister of State during this term, I am confident in my ability to represent the people of Sligo-Leitrim effectively”.
