Congratulations to Roscommon hurlers who secured a dramatic victory in the Nicky Rackard Cup Final at Croke Park on Saturday.
A superbly-struck goal (from a free) with the last puck of the game – one minutes into injury-time – from Micheal Kelly gave Roscommon a sensational one-point win over favourites Armagh. Final score: Roscommon 2-12 Armagh 1-14.
Congratulations to manager Justin Campbell, his management team, the entire panel and everyone associated with hurling in Roscommon.
This was a tremendous victory by Roscommon against quality opposition and represents a major shot in the arm for Roscommon hurling.
