Mercy College Roscommon are the Lidl LGFA Connacht colleges senior A champions following a thrilling 2-13 to 1-15 win against St Attracta’s, Tubbercurry in Bekan on Thursday.
Goals from Emma Feeney and Isobel Kenny helped the Roscommon girls into a 2-7 to 1-7 half-time kead.
Tubbercurry staged a major revival in the second period and with 10 minutes left they led by a point.
But late points from Siofra Hession and sub Sarah Jane O’Connor saw the Convent over the line.
