Castlerea Rose Festival has just won ‘Best Irish Festival’ at the LAMA All-Ireland Community Awards this evening in Dublin.
Taking to social media this evening Castlerea Rose Festival said: WE WON!!! BEST FESTIVAL IN IRELAND at the Lama All Ireland Community Awards.
The Rose Festival drew a record crowd last summer when The Tumbling Paddies performed as part of the line-up which also included Nathan Carter.
It runs again this year from the 28th of July to the 4th of August.
