Castlerea Olympian Aoife O’Rourke is fighting to defend her gold medal in the 75kg final at the 75th Strandja Memorial Tournament this afternoon in Bulgaria.
The paris-qualified boxer meets Baison Manikon of Thailand in Bout 4 of the Afternoon Session of the tournament beginning at 12 pm.
Aoife made it through her semi-final bout yesterday afternoon by defeating double Olympic and triple world championship medalist Quan Li of China on a 4:1 split decision.
