The people of Kilglass were left in a state of shock and sadness after the body of a young mother was found dead in “unexplained circumstances” at her home in the Kilglass area shortly before 9am on Saturday morning.
The woman, who was aged in her thirties and is a member of a local family, was removed from the scene on Saturday afternoon and brought to University Hospital Galway.
The Office of the State Pathologist completed a post mortem yesterday, the results of which are not being released to the public for operational reasons.
