National League fixtures announced

The fixtures for Roscommon’s National Football and Hurling League campaigns were announced this week and will see both sides start with home games in 2022.

The footballers host Cork at Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday, January 30th before travelling to Navan to take on Meath the following weekend in what looks like a tricky opening for Anthony Cunningham’s charges.

Clare are the visitors to Dr. Hyde Park in the third round of fixtures on February 20th before the Rossies make their way to Newry to face Down on February 26th.

Roscommon will complete their campaign with three fixtures in March, at home to Derry on March 13th, away to Offaly on March 20th and finally, a mouth-watering showdown with neighbours Galway at the Hyde on March 27th.

The hurlers, meanwhile, begin their campaign by hosting Tyrone in Athleague on February 6th before making the long trip to Darver to take on Louth the following weekend.

Warwickshire are the visitors to Dr. Hyde Park on February 27th before the Rossies head north to Armagh on March 6th.

The hurlers finish their campaign at home against Monaghan on March 20th.
