Ballaghaderreen Community Art Group recently completed a project which combined their artistic talents and sustainability to add yet more colour and fun to the town’s Community Garden. The group painted some old slates before constructing stands and installing their artwork in the garden.
Community Art Group member Yolanda van Herk said the two groups first collaborated during Covid-19 when artists were accommodated at the garden’s polytunnel. She added that the art group was delighted to give something back to the popular local garden.
