The 185th annual Ballinasloe Horse & Agricultural Show takes place this weekend, being staged in the centre of town at the four-acre site in the Ballinasloe Showgrounds on this Sunday, September 22nd.
The premises offers a prime location for the day’s events, with two sand arenas, a grass arena, and a special dog track for showing, as well as ample free parking in the Fair Green and catering facilities on site.
There will be over a hundred classes on the day – comprising equine, cattle, sheep, and dog sections. Additionally, this year, the show will be livestreamed throughout the day on all social media platforms.
First established in 1829, the annual Ballinasloe Horse & Agricultural Show is one of the oldest in Ireland, and this Sunday’s event is guaranteed to be as successful as any of its predecessors.
